Hi I’m Charlie (short for Charlotte) but I have gone by Charlie since I was young. I will be running Pop Up Play Village Nottingham where I plan on running play sessions, birthday parties, wedding crèche as well as the occasional fayre.

I live in Keyworth, Nottingham with my partner Doug and our two children Carrie & Lucas. I’m sure they will be helping me with lots of testing of the equipment and play areas.

I have worked in the corporate world specifically apprenticeships since leaving school and I still plan to work part time whilst running Pop Up Play Village Nottingham. I have really wanted to start my own business for a long time but never took the plunge and I finally did.

I was particularly interested in role play for children and this came about because I’d been driving a long way every two weeks up until recently to take my daughter Carrie to a role play centre. I have seen first hand how great role play is for a child’s development not only did Carrie have fun, she was learning the way of the world too. One day I sat in the cafe eating cake and drinking tea whilst she performed a very important operation on a snake and suddenly I thought I could do this! 

This is when I researched and came across Pop Up Play Village. I’m so glad I’ve joined the Pop Up Play Village franchise team. 

I am so excited to get started with running sessions and to see all the children (adults  too) role playing and having fun. Carrie is super excited to help mummy with her work and be the 2nd in command, Lucas on the other hand can’t wait to be crawling round big halls!
