Adaptions to our play sessions to be Covid 19 Secure

We are looking forward to meeting you at one of our events very soon. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we have made some adaptions to our play sessions to ensure the safety for all who attend and to make your play experience as enjoyable as possible.

Booking to attend a play session:

We ask that only one adult per household attends a play session due to the reduction in the number of customers we can have at each event. This will allow more space to play, a great bonus during this time. If you wish to bring another adult, they will need to pay for their space.

As part of the governments track and trace system, we will need to keep your contact details on record for 21 days which will be kept securely on our booking system.

We ask that you make a booking in advance through our booking system. If you decide you want to attend on the day, this is absolutely fine if there are spaces available but we ask that you make the booking through our booking system rather than paying by cash or card on arrival.

The capacity at the venue will be limited taking consideration of the size and need for social distancing.

On arrival at a Pop Up Play Village event:

On arrival, we ask you to queue 2m from other households and households will enter the play session one household at a time.

We ask that all adults and children over the age of 11 years old who attend our sessions wear a face covering whilst having fun at one of our events unless exempt under government guidelines. Children under the age of 11 years old don’t have to wear one.

On arrival, we will ask you to self-declare that you have no signs or symptoms of the Covid 19 virus and that no one in your household has had the Covid 19 virus in the last 14 days. We will show you the questions with just a yes or no answer needed, very quick and easy but enables an extra level of safety for all who attend.

We will ask you and the members of your household to use hand sanitiser provided or wash your hands before starting to play and when leaving. Hand sanitiser will also be available to use as often as you like during the play session.

As part of our usual routine, we will continue to ask all customers to remove shoes before entering the play areas and also ask you to keep to a minimum, items from home in particular toys to enable us to keep the play areas as clean as possible. You will be asked to store your shoes separately from other people at the venue.

We request that you don’t bring any pushchairs or buggies into the play session. For nappy changing, we ask that you bring your own changing mat to use.

Exploring our play areas:

Our play sessions are a very sociable experience and will continue to be so but at a distance. We ask that you keep 2m distance from other households following government guidelines. We ask you as parents and carers to support your children in the play areas to do this. Our play sessions have always been lots of fun for adults as well as children so we know that they will continue to be so.

We ask that you sit with your child at the art studio table to ensure social distancing and use your personal set of resources available for you on request.

We know that children love to explore toys and especially love to pretend to eat some of our tasty toy treats so there will be a rub a dub tub and we ask that if any toys have been mouthed that they go into the rub a dub tub to be cleaned before being put back into the play areas. If your child wears an item of dressing up, it must be only shared between your household and it needs to go into the rub a dub tub after use.

We want to ensure that the our play sessions are a safe and enjoyable experience for all so we ask you not to bring any members of your household to a Pop Up Play Village event if anyone in your household is showing any of the signs associated with the Covid 19 virus, or if anyone in your household has tested positive within 14 days.

If anyone from your household becomes unwell during a Pop Up Play Village event, we ask you to leave immediately and inform the manager at the event. You should obtain a Covid 19 test and inform the franchise owner of the result so that track and trace procedures can be followed. The event will be stopped.

We ask that if you or anyone in your household becomes unwell with the Covid 19 virus within 14 days of attending a Pop Up Play Village event that you inform the franchise owner.

We have always prided ourselves in the cleanliness of our play areas and during this time, it is even more important. For your peace of mind and enjoyment, you can come and play at one of our play sessions and know that all play equipment has been thoroughly cleaned between each play session ensuring a lovely sparkly clean play experience.

We hope that you have a fantastic play experience and look forward to welcoming you into play very soon.
